DTS
14 Sep 2026 - 29 Jan 2027
Do you desire to move beyond
an apathetic or half-hearted faith
into a passionate relationship with God?
What is ARISE Discipleship Training School (DTS)?
The Arise DTS is designed to equip and champion young people to answer the call of God to bring the Gospel to every sphere of society in every nation.
Discipleship Training School (DTS) is a five to six months discipleship course which serves as the prerequisite for all other YWAM training programs. This course is for those who desire to deepen their relationship with God and to see the unreached reached with the gospel.
The DTS blends classroom learning, small group activities, personal reflection, practical service, and community living. Most often, the training comes in two parts: lecture phase and outreach phase.

Lecture
Phase
The Lecture Phase will span over a period of 3 months where you will have the unique opportunity to learn in a bilingual setting (Mandarin and English). This will take place while experiencing a new culture and growing alongside people from different nations.
You’ll receive concrete teachings from trusted speakers on foundational discipleship topics such as: Hearing God’s Voice, The Nature and Character of God, Biblical Worldview, and Missions.
Outreach Phase
Upon completing the Lecture Phase, you’ll embark on a two-month Outreach Phase with the possibility of going to some of the least reached nations in the world.
You’ll take what you’ve acquired overseas and work alongside experienced missionaries and local believers to partner together in sharing the Gospel. You will meet people’s practical and spiritual needs so that they too can know God and make Him known.
